On 27th March our English groups gathered together to watch another film made by us as a result of our project ‘IIe presents...’. This time the topic was fame. The film told about a girl who took part in a music competition. When she won, she became famous. Because of fame and fortune she forgot about her friends and family. She became rude and selfish. Was it worth it? You decide...

Patryk & Patryk

Because of the fact that unit 6 of our English course book is devoted to the topic of protest, on 24th March we had a chance to organize such events. Working in little groups we created short scenes presenting extraordinary actions. The first protest was about cheaper rolls, and the second one was about ice cream in winter. We also protested about building supermarkets and destroying parks. That was really exciting.

From 16th to 20th March we had the pleasure to host a special guest from Indonesia. It was Harry Kurniawan. He met us every day and he presented a lot of information about his country. He talked about culture, geography, animals and food. We showed him our town and school. This time was amazing and we were delighted to meet such an interesting person. We spent wonderful time together.

On 9th March 2015 we discussed our book ‘Tales from Hans Andersen’. There were five short stories: Ugly Duckling, Little Mermaid, The Nightingale, Thumbelina and The Emperor’s New Clothes. First we talked about the tales, the most important characters and the plot. We also created some posters, puzzles and drawings. Finally, everybody wrote a test which checked our knowledge about the events in the book.
